下世代掌機規格前哨戰正式開打：
Z2 EXTREME VS Lunar lake
「當前產品的世代分佈：
A.Zen 2 ：
代表產品：Steam deck的梵高（完全客製化晶片）、PS5及XSX/XSS也是這世代的產物。
順帶一提謠傳的PS5 Pro還是這世代的半產物
只是GPU單元有迭代。
B.Zen 3(Rembrandt）:
代表產品：6800U掌機
對標intel：上述均無。
B.Zen 4 （Phoenix）：
代表產品：7840「U」、8840「U」、8840HS、Z1E、Z1
（目前大多數現有的的產品別均停留在這個世代）
對標intel（Metro Lake ）
代表產品：Core Ultra 100h系列。
新世代
C.Zen 5（Strix Point）：
代表產品：370HX、365HX、而本文提到的Z2E也是屬於Strix Point。
C-1.Zen5 (Krackan Point)：
代表產品：暫時未出。（原訂為認知的9000U系列，不過按照目前現況應該是不會用9000U
命名。）
規格上比Strix Point低（規模小不少）
對標intel（Lunar lake）：
代表產品Core Ultra 200V系列。」

AMD證實Z2E開發中，並將於2025年初正式公佈。
This week in Berlin was IFA 2024, showcasing a wide range of new consumer tech
nology products.
At the show, AMD confirmed the successor to its Z1 Extreme chip, which is powe
ring devices like the Lenovo Legion Go and ASUS ROG Ally, revolutionizing PC g
aming handhelds.
「The Z2 Extreme will be based on Strix Point, with AMD's Senior Vice Presiden
t Jack Huynh reportedly suggesting it will boost high-end performance mode bat
tery life from 45 minutes to 3 hours. 」
本次訪談屬於AMD與微軟聯合訪談
Pavan Davuluri, CVP of Windows and the Surface team, says Microsoft has heard
the complaints. “We work closely with Phil Spencer and the Xbox team, and we
’re looking at ways to address the fundamental problems with battery life and
response time, and what we can do in gameplay experience and rendering on a s
mall screen,” he confirmed.
Could this mean an Xbox handheld sporting Ryzen Z2 Extreme? We hope so, but ti
me will tell. IFA 2024 has seen some big launches in the gaming and computing
space, from Intel Core Ultra 200 series laptops (codenamed Lunar Lake) to the
Acer Nitro Blaze 7 handheld packing a full-blown laptop CPU.
But this is probably one of the biggest announcements coming out of the show.
It’s time to look ahead, as the future is looking mightily bright.

This is where AI can help. Currently, AMD’s frame generation technology does
not use it, and can weigh heavy on the CPU. But with FSR 4, the team has “com
pletely pivoted” to an Nvidia DLSS-esque AI frame generation to “maximize ba
ttery life.”
同時提到了FSR4的發展。
1.更強的能耗比將會是本次的關鍵：
Z2E源自於Strix Point世代，高性能的電池續航能力將是這顆核心的關鍵，以能耗比來說
，上世代高性能模式下約只能支撐45分鐘（Ally)、本次將提升至3小時續航。
2.本次Z2E由多家廠商聯合共同開發。
3.微軟「可能」也會採用這顆作為下一世代掌機的主要核心。(這消息源自於本新聞是在A
MD與微軟員工Q&A環節得知的，代表微軟也正參與其中，目前算是猜測的Rumor）
4.這顆將會是完全高度客製化的核心（據先前消息，這顆將與Steam deck的梵高一樣，屬
於定義上的「完全客製化核心」，據傳為3+5（還是有大小核，但不同於當今300HX系列）
。
