Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports that while no deals are necessarily close as of t
his moment, the Royals have also spoken to the Phillies about third baseman Alec
Bohm and to the Angels about outfielder Taylor Ward. Like India, both Bohm and
Ward are right-handed bats with multiple seasons of club control remaining.
